SSD validation Engineer

Seeking a dynamic professional for an undisclosed high-profile company expanding in the United States and based in Tukwila. This permanent contract role is available for immediate start.

Position: SSD Validation Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Tukwila, WA

Start Date: Immediate Summary:

The ideal candidate has over 6 years of hardware test experience and is proficient in collaborating with both internal teams and suppliers to develop and execute qualification plans and test cases for Server Systems. Testing will encompass all aspects of the server environment, including BIOS, BMC, Power, Memory, Storage, Network, Performance, Stress, etc., across Linux-based operating systems.

Requirements

Understanding of the storage protocols (NVMe, SAS, SATA).

Experience with SSD/HDD validation, performance testing and white-box testing.

Understand the specs, develop test Procedures, and execute them.

Debugging skills. Familiar with PCIe Analyzers, Logic analyzers, Oscilloscopes etc.

Proven software and script development skills, C/C++ Programming, Python Scripting.

Familiar with Azure DevOps.

Familiar with SSD/HDD test suites like ULink DriveMaster. A Plus

Knowledge on how to use an OakGate or SANBlaze test appliance.
