Sr Project Manager

Description

Employees in this role direct will lead a group of project managers in addition to overseeing multiple complex projects and plant modifications.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead of the Project Management group

• Long range planning and scheduling, working with multiple stakeholders and contractors to ensure work streams between groups do not interfere

• Ability to work with project controls to create and maintain detailed forecasts for multiple projects with a granular work breakdown structure.

• Ensures project implementation is efficient, effective, safe, and in accordance with all procedures, policies and work instructions and uses strategic planning to optimize resources

• Establish and enforce expectations for safety, procedure compliance, corrective action, and appropriate work behaviors for employees and contractor staff

• Coordinate project activities, craft, and employee resources with plant and fleet departments to ensure resource availability and appropriate oversight

• Support and monitor daily employee activities, training, performance, recognition and discipline and make decisions on routine supervisory issues

• Inform management of plant issues and organize, plan, control, and execute goals and objectives as directed

• Maintain program compliance with plant, fleet, and industry requirements

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED

• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

• Experience: 10+ years

• Nuclear Experience: 10+ years

• Supervisor/Management Experience: 7+ years

• Experience managing large nuclear capital projects from early stage engineering to project closeout

• Experience building complex resource loaded schedules

• Previous Contract management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree

• Bachelor's – Engineering

• PMP Certification

• Master's Degree

• Master's - Accounting / Finance

• Master's - Business Administration

• Preferred previous experience using NAMS software

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $105.00/hr.
