Description:

We don't just build hardware-we create technology that powers satellites, spacecraft, and the next generation of exploration. As a Supplier Quality Engineer - PCB, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our suppliers are delivering components that meet the highest standards of precision and performance.

If you're passionate about cutting-edge electronics, thrive on collaboration, and have a sharp eye for quality, this is your chance to shape the future of flight.

What You'll Be Doing:

Champion the quality of our PCB and electronic component supply chain-developing proactive systems to ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance from day one.

Dive deep into supplier operations, leading audits, risk assessments, and on-site evaluations to guarantee performance meets our exacting standards.

Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to support everything from prototyping to full production launches.

Act as a quality ambassador-resolving issues swiftly and permanently by driving root cause investigations and corrective action plans.

Design robust incoming inspection criteria and sampling plans that safeguard quality without slowing down innovation.

Serve as a critical advisor during New Product Introduction (NPI), helping teams select and onboard suppliers that can scale with confidence.

Ensure compliance with IPC standards (IPC-600, IPC-6012, IPC-A-610) and align supplier practices with ISO 9001, AS9100, and internal benchmarks.

Use data to drive supplier performance-tracking KPIs, addressing under performance, and recognizing excellence.

Support failure analysis investigations and make technical contributions to reliability testing efforts.

Keep supplier documentation audit-ready at all times, including corrective action records, scorecards, and quality agreements. You're a Great Fit If You Have:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering (or a closely related field).

5+ years in quality or manufacturing roles, with hands-on experience in PCB fabrication and electronic components.

A strong command of IPC and industry quality standards, and the ability to evaluate complex processes with a critical eye.

Experience with supplier development, audits, root cause analysis (8D), and process control tools like FMEA and SPC.

The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Excellent communication skills-you're just as comfortable in a technical review as you are negotiating with suppliers.

Background in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics (a major plus).

Certifications like CQE, CQA, or IPC (preferred, but not required-we'll help you grow).
