About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining data across various systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our operations.
Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and update data into company databases and spreadsheets
Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct any incompatibilities
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
Retrieve data as requested by management or team leads
Prepare and sort documents for data entry
Verify data by comparing it to source documents
Assist in generating reports and summaries as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position
Excellent typing speed and accuracy (minimum 50 WPM recommended)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace
Familiarity with data management tools and CRM systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills
