Direct Support Professional

Are you someone who enjoys being active, making a difference, and helping others live life to the fullest? We’re looking for a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support two clients receiving Homemaker/Personal Care (HPC) services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

This is not a sit-around kind of job. Most days will involve walking, light activity, and engaging directly with the client through conversation and support. You’ll also take the client on occasional community outings—whether that’s grabbing a bite to eat, going to a park, or running errands—so being social and outgoing is key.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license.

Own a clean, reliable, functioning vehicle.

Proof of car insurance.

Clean driving record (no major violations).

Must be open and willing to take clients on outings.

Outgoing, friendly personality with a willingness to engage.

Dependable and consistent with excellent communication skills.

HS diploma.

CPR/First aid certification.

DSP training certification. (If you don't have this, you will need to complete it prior to starting)

Mileage reimbursement for client outings.

Flexible schedule with consistent hours (between 18 to 36 hours per week).

Schedule: Most shifts are weekday afternoons and weekend afternoons, with clients receiving care together under a 2:1 staffing model. The clients are self-sufficient so there will not be any lifting or intense personal care work. We'll work with you to find the right fit!
