Position Type: Secretarial/Clerical/Secretary Date Posted: 5/8/2025 Location: Kennedy High School Additional Information: Show/Hide Position: Scheduling Secretary - High School Effective Date: August 1, 2025 Hours: 8 hours per day 5 days per week 12 months Location: Kennedy High School Salary: Class IV * Wage placement based on previous experience Required/Preferred Experience: * High School diploma + 2 years post-secondary education and/or office experience preferred * Experience in a secondary school preferred * 3-5 years related experience; prior experience scheduling and/or with Infinite Campus preferred * Demonstrated technology knowledge to include Google Suite, Spreadsheets, Infinite Campus * Positive representation of Kennedy High School to internal and external customers * Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgement * Proven excellent composition, grammar, and word processing skills * The ideal candidate will be self-driven, an excellent communicator, a self-driven learner, and be able to ask for help when needed * Communicate with students, parents, co-workers, supervisors, and the community in a positive, culturally proficient, and responsive way that is consistently welcoming and enhances effective work relationships Responsibilities: The scheduling secretary, under the supervision of the assistant principal, shall be responsible for: * Supporting the Assistant Principal with large projects including registration, scheduling, Academic Seminar scheduling, and grade reporting while also completing other daily tasks.

* Managing scheduling processes and timelines to ensure appropriate prioritizing, planning, communication, and use of resources for timely and effective results * Serving as a building data lead responsible for supporting staff with maintaining accurate student information within Infinite Campus * Updating resources for parents and students including our yearly registration guide.

* Creating and maintaining spreadsheets contaning information about registration, attendance, grades, and assessments.

* Sending mass communications - emails, letter - to families * Preparing various data pulls and reports * Independently performing administrative functions and supporting the confidential activities of the assistant principal * Event support and planning, including conferences, Kennedy Connect Day, achievement events, etc.
