Description:

We are seeking a Front-End Loader, in our Byhalia, MS facility. As a front-end loader, you will be responsible for supplying raw material as required to avoid downtime and responsible with raw material delivery drivers. The loader provides the transportation of waste and raw materials and provides cleaning services.

The shift for this position is 7AM-7PM, on a 2-2-3 rotation.

What you bring:

Proficient in operating a Front-End Loader and various heavy equipment with precision.

Possesses a comprehensive understanding of equipment operations, ensuring safe and efficient clearing operations.

Skilled in operating a range of equipment including loaders, forklifts, and skid-steers.

Adheres to stringent Health and Safety regulations, prioritizing a safe work environment.

Self-initiating and proactive, excelling as a self-starter in tasks and responsibilities.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration across all departments.

Dedicated team player, fostering cooperation and synergy within the workplace.

Proficient in comprehending and executing written instructions accurately.

Holds a valid driver’s license, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations.

What you will be doing:

Provide crucial support to production operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality finished products at optimal production rates.

Facilitate seamless communication with drivers and haulers to coordinate the timely delivery of raw materials.

Proactively address recurring issues to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency while prioritizing health and safety protocols.

Uphold cleanliness standards as a vital member of the Yard team, maintaining the pristine condition of factory grounds.

Execute snow and ice removal as necessary to ensure safe working conditions.

Operate loaders proficiently, replenishing raw material bins during shifts and conducting necessary cleanouts under furnaces.

Prepare furnace pits with fines material to optimize operational readiness.

Efficiently stockpile incoming raw materials and perform various loader tasks to support production demands.

Manage the loading of bins or trucks with production and furnace waste, ensuring proper disposal protocols are followed.

Conduct daily maintenance checks on loaders to uphold equipment reliability and performance.

Maintain the organization and orderliness of waste and raw material storage areas to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibly handle waste disposal, ensuring it is properly sorted and placed in designated bins for appropriate disposal methods.
