Mold Maker- 1st Shift

Our client is a contract plastics manufacturing company that utilizes thermoplastic to make a variety of parts for the medical device industry.

They are now seeking to hire a Mold Technician for this long-term opportunity.

Job Functions:

Safely operate and maintain lathe, surface grinders, milling machines, and all other machining equipment.

Track and Report status of Mold Builds to Supervisor from beginning to end

Familiarity with Wire EDM, Ram EDM, and General CNC machining preferred

Review/interpret drawings to machine a finished piece from raw material.

Take precise measurements to verify if machined piece meets the print requirements.

Navigate Drawings software to view 3D models of assigned tasks.

Assemble and disassemble molds to evaluate quotes and/or repairs
