Job SummaryInspect the quality of ware being produced to ensure no defects are packed.

MAIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspectors will make quality inspections requiring some specialized knowledge of bottle specifications. Checks samples of the product for defects. Uses gauges and a hand glass cutter to check dimensions for height, weight, glass thickness and distributions. Performs lot sampling of finished products. Checks automatic inspection equipment and verifies that equipment is working within specifications. Un-jams line and equipment. Handles individual containers and full cases. Keeps production tallies and inspection records.
