Client is located in Grand Rapids area near 36th st and Kalamazoo. Looking to fill Nursing hours Tuesdays 12p-5p, Wednesday 3p-9p. Every other weekend hours: Saturday 9a-3p and Sunday 9a-2p. 11-22 hours per week!

Client is located in Grand Rapids-looking to staff Saturdays from 7a-3p. 8 hours per week with PRN status

Responsibilities

Take and record vital signs

Monitor patient's condition and report changes/concerns to appropriate medical professionals and family members

Administer prescribed medications including injections, enemas/suppositories, etc as ordered by Physician

Trach and vent care with suctioning

Feeding tube care and Wound care

Hoyer transfers

Repositioning and turning client in bed

Provide emotional and psychological support when needed

Understands First Aid and Emergency Care protocols

Complete electronic documentation while on shift

Skills

Successful completion of LPN or RN license program is a must

1 year experience as LPN or RN

Familiarity with home health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures

Understanding of confidentiality and Privacy Laws and nursing best practices

Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work as a team

Ability to learn electronic verification charting software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate and able to handle tough situations if needed

Trach and vent care experience is a MUST

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $34.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 27 per week
