DSD Laboratories is seeking a Tier II Help Desk Analyst to support the Cyberspace Infrastructure Planning System (CIPS)-the U.S. Air Force's enterprise system for IT infrastructure requirements, funding requests, geospatial communications documentation, and more.
This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute directly to national defense by supporting a system critical to the planning and execution of Air Force communications infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a primary point of contact for Tier II technical issues in the CIPS environment. • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams. • Log and manage work orders within the USAF CIPS web application. • Coordinate with Tier I Help Desk and software engineers to escalate and resolve issues quickly. • Test new software builds and report defects in Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO). • Prioritize and resolve VIP user issues with professionalism and urgency. • Document solutions, track issue resolution, and maintain up-to-date support knowledge base. • Support and mentor Tier I personnel as needed. • Maintain awareness of system risks and advise management on potential impacts. Qualifications: • Active DoD Secret Clearance. • 3+ years of experience in IT Help Desk or customer service in a technical support environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Windows 11, Office 365, VPNs, ticketing systems, and Azure DevOps. • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information. • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware and software issues. • Commitment to high-quality customer service and technical excellence. Preferred Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Experience with .NET Framework (4.8), Oracle-based applications, or Air Force/DoD systems. • Familiarity with user acceptance testing and software QA processes.
