Job Title: CNC Machinist (Night Shift)

Job Type: 700-Hour Contract-to-Hire Full-Time

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Location: Washington, MI

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on the night shift. This is a 700-hour contract-to-hire opportunity offering full-time hours and a shift premium. The ideal candidate is experienced in reading blueprints, setting up CNC machines, and machining a wide range of materials with accuracy and efficiency in a non-production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings

Set up and operate CNC machines with minimal supervision

Machine various materials to tight tolerances, ensuring quality and precision

Perform basic CNC programming and make necessary on-the-fly adjustments

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and resolve machining challenges

Qualifications

3–5 years of CNC machining experience in a non-production or job shop setting (preferred)

Strong blueprint reading and CNC machine operation skills

Proven ability to independently set up and run parts accurately

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Team-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities

Must provide own tools (basic)
