Akkodis has ongoing requirements for a Java Software Developer for a long-term assignment with a government client in the Ottawa area.

The successful candidate must possess the following skills and experience:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in developing Enterprise Applications for Java/J2EE Platform

Minimum 3 years’ experience developing applications using Spring Framework

Minimum 10 years’ experience testing software applications

Experience in providing technical expertise in the design, construction, testing, integration and implementation of software products

A Government of Canada issued SECRET clearance (or higher)

The following skills/qualifications would be considered an asset:

Experience working with front-end frameworks, such as Angular or React.js

Cloud Software Solution Experience (AWS or Azure)

Experience developing/architecting software applications using Java or J2EE

Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes)

Microservices (Spring Boot) experience

DevOps experience
