Punch Press/Press Brake Set-Up Technician

We are seeking a full-time Punch Press/Press Brake Set-Up Technician for 1st and 2nd shift positions. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating stamping press machines and possess a strong understanding of production processes.

Responsibilities:

Set up and adjust machine controls for each job to ensure proper settings for speed, pressure, and feed rates.

Operate and maintain stamping press machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.

Monitor the production process, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance and minimize downtime.

Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using visual checks and measuring tools.

Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical documents.

Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and meet targets.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience setting up punch presses or press brakes.

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Knowledge of stamping press operations, set-up, adjustment, and troubleshooting.

Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurements with precision tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Experience setting up and running progressive dies is a plus.

Progressive stamping, spot welding, or wire forming skills are a plus!
