Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team and contribute to the assembly of electronic components, subassemblies, and systems. The role involves using hand tools, light assembly equipment, and lead-free solder stations while adhering to production work instructions and shop orders to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in product assembly.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate appropriate equipment, tools, and fixtures for product assembly.

Solder wires and components to printed circuit boards.

Assemble and solder wiring harnesses.

Hand assemble plastic and metal heat sinks and case parts.

Conduct functional testing of work in progress and completed units.

Package finished goods using box and clamshell methods.

Collaborate with the production supervisor to ensure product quality by identifying and resolving assembly issues.

Highlight continuous improvement opportunities.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Read and apply documented quality system procedures.Essential Skills

Proficiency in electronic assembly and small parts assembly.

Experience using hand tools and soldering techniques.

Ability to work with blueprints and wiring.

Familiarity with mechanical assembly processes.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Basic mechanical and/or electrical knowledge.

Preferred experience in assembly, wiring, and soldering.

Strong hand dexterity.

Ability to work independently following work orders.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility where all positions are primarily seated. Join a team of 10-14 people and enjoy flexible shift hours, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
