Job Title: Press Operator

Job Description

As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating various presses, including hydraulic presses, to bend, cut, and shape materials such as metal or plastic. This role requires reading blueprints, setting up machines, loading materials, monitoring the process, making necessary adjustments, and inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor various presses to shape materials.

Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precision in operations.

Set up machines and change dies as necessary for different production runs.

Load and unload materials effectively and safely.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Identify defects and ensure the machine operates properly.

Complete necessary documentation such as move tickets, inspection sheets, and material disposition tags.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
