Job Title: Assembler $22/hr

Job Description

We are seeking experienced welders to join our team. You will work Monday to Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with potential overtime during high order volumes, which may include longer days and occasional Saturdays. We value a strong work history and dedication to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Perform heavy duty assembly on spring reels and cable products

Read and interpret blueprints to execute precise welding projects.

Maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality.

Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure proper fixture, jig, and work holding techniques to effectively position parts during welding.Essential Skills

Hand tools, power tools, measurement

Strong capability in reading and interpreting blueprints

Experience with welding processes is huge plus.

Great attendance record.Additional Skills & Qualifications

A two-year welding degree is a plus.

Welding certificate with one or two weld certifications is a definite advantage.

Local candidates only, as relocation is not supported.

Work Environment

The work environment is a machine shop setting where you will be exposed to fumes and noise. Proper safety equipment such as helmets, leathers, and gloves are required during the onsite welding test. Work involves maintaining conformity to standards while identifying areas for improvement.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Harlan, Iowa.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00/yr.

direct placement with the company. 401K, 11 paid holidays, PTO, Sick days, and your birthday is a paid day off.

Full-time
