Job Description
The Batch Processor is responsible for manufacturing flavors, including powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, and extracts, according to formulations on each batch ticket. This role emphasizes food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy in assembling batches, operating machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blenders, and ensuring correct finished product quantities with appropriate labeling.
Responsibilities
Manufacture flavors according to batch ticket formulations.
Assemble batches with a focus on food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
Operate machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blenders.
Maintain attention to detail and follow safety procedures.
Ensure correct finished product quantity and labeling.Essential Skills
Experience in batch mixing, blending, and compounding.
Familiarity with chemical processes and GMP standards.
2+ years of experience in food, pharma, or chemical compounding.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfortable working in a team environment.

Work Environment
Work in a food GMP environment where strong smells are prevalent due to the nature of the flavors company. Employees are required to wear steel toe shoes, a hair net, and no jewelry. Uniforms and lockers will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauconda, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
