Tool and Die Maker/Machinist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool and Die Maker/Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing existing and building new fixtures, jigs, dies, and gauges. You will also troubleshoot tooling issues while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure the accuracy of finished products.
Set up and operate various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Build, repair, and maintain tooling and dies for production processes.
Diagnose and resolve tooling problems.
Work with engineers and other team members to improve processes and designs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a tool fabrication environment.
Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with machinists and engineers.
Expertise in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
