Entry Level Structural Welder
Job Description
We are seeking skilled structural welders to become a vital part of our team. The ideal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in welding with both Mig and Flux methods, possess the ability to read blueprints and tape measures accurately, and have the knowledge to set amperage and voltage on welding machines. Candidates must be capable of welding in a 3G (vertical) position and grinding welds efficiently.
Responsibilities
Read blueprints and drawings to take or read measurements for planning layout and procedures.
Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on specific requirements.
Set up components for welding according to specifications, including cutting material with powered saws to match measurements.
Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
Align components using calipers and rulers, and clamp pieces securely.
Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions such as vertical, horizontal, or overhead.
Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify any flaws.
Maintain equipment in a condition that ensures safety and compliance.Essential Skills
Proficient in Mig and Flux welding methods.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measures.
Knowledge of setting amperage and voltage on welding machines.
Ability to weld in the 3G (vertical) position.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in fabrication and production.

Work Environment
The work environment includes two shifts: the 1st shift operates from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, while the night shift runs from 5pm to 4:30am, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
