Job Description
Job Summary/Company: Responsible for designing and planning civil engineering projects such as roads, airports,
Bridges, harbors, dams, irrigation systems, pipelines, and power plants. Duties may include
analyzing maps, blueprints, drawings, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition,
terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and
design projects. Due to government requirements, only US Citizens can be considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to the Infrastructure Engineering Center, for accomplishment of project engineering packages, to include the following tasks:
o Develop site specific project plans and specifications for solicitation and contracting of engineering projects for FAA approval and acceptance.
o Perform site surveys to collect site-specific project data and research all (state, local, federal, FAA, etc.) standards, construction codes and ordinances.
o Provide analysis, recommendations, and solutions to issues identified during the site survey.
Provide technical engineering support for all phases of assigned new construction and renovation projects (i.e., evaluate shop drawings, design proposals,
and interpret the technical requirements for adherence to contract documents)
Perform engineering studies for feasibility and cost versus benefit
Qualifications/Background Profile:
General Engineering Degree (B.S.). Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Engineer and/or Resident Engineer with Civil Engineering Design and experience with tower, shelter, and similar structure projects
Knowledge of Unstaffed Infrastructure Sustainment (UIS) facilities
Proficiency in AUTOCAD
Typically requires a BA degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
This job is Hybrid Remote.
Pay Range: Salary $100,000.00 to $110,000.00
