Job Description
The Coating Technician is responsible for supporting the setup, operation, and ongoing optimization of the automated spray booth used to apply protective coatings to precision-manufactured components. This role involves supporting the development of reliable masking and fixturing processes that meet customer specifications. You will interpret customer specifications, part drawings, and work instructions to ensure all coating processes meet requirements, conduct visual and basic dimensional inspections of coated parts to verify coating quality and coverage, and maintain accurate process records, logs, and documentation related to coating operations.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and optimize the automated spray booth for applying protective coatings.
Support the development of reliable masking and fixturing processes.
Interpret customer specifications, part drawings, and work instructions.
Conduct visual and basic dimensional inspections of coated parts.
Verify coating quality and coverage.
Maintain accurate process records, logs, and documentation.Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in hands-on manufacturing, finishing, or coatings.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions.
Comfortable working in a regulated environment with attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a medical device or aerospace manufacturing environment preferred.
Familiarity with industrial coatings is a plus but not required—training will be provided.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a very clean and organized medical manufacturing facility equipped with a lot of new equipment. Enjoy modern conference and break rooms. The position is for the 1st shift: Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Lino Lakes, Minnesota.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $52000.00/yr.
