Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Website Designer to join our team in Culver City, California. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in designing and enhancing websites that are both visually appealing and user-friendly. Your expertise will be instrumental in determining the right platform, crafting engaging designs, and improving functionality to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and recommend the most suitable platform, such as Squarespace or WordPress, based on project requirements.

• Create visually compelling website designs that align with branding and user expectations.

• Collaborate with the team to suggest and implement innovative functionality features.

• Apply UX/UI best practices to ensure an intuitive and seamless user experience.

• Utilize design tools like Adobe Creative Suite to develop graphics, banners, and other digital assets.

• Optimize website designs for both desktop and mobile responsiveness.

• Stay updated on the latest trends in web design and functionality to enhance project outcomes.

• Ensure websites meet accessibility standards and performance requirements.

• Conduct quality checks to identify and resolve design or functionality issues.

• Assist in integrating e-commerce and other advanced applications into website structures.• Proficiency in platforms such as Squarespace and WordPress.

• Strong design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.

• Hands-on experience with UX/UI principles and practices.

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver.

• Familiarity with CSS and other web design coding standards.

• Experience designing for e-commerce and other interactive website functionalities.

• Ability to create engaging advertisements, banners, and graphic assets.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
