Inventory Associate

Job Description

Inventory Skills

· Inventory management and stock control experience

· Knowledge of inventory methods (e.g., FIFO, LIFO)

· Accuracy in data entry and record-keeping

· Strong attention to detail

· Excellent organizational skills

· Proficiency with inventory software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl)

· Basic Excel/Google Sheets skills (filters, formulas, pivot tables)

· Familiarity with barcode/RFID scanning systems

· Ability to perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies

· Strong problem-solving and investigative skills

· Physical stamina and ability to lift/move stock

· Punctuality and reliability

· Effective communication and teamwork

· Ability to adapt to changing workloads or procedures

· Forklift operation or certification (Sit-down, stand-up and cherry/order picker is a must)

· Understanding of inventory turnover and shrinkage

· Knowledge of safety and compliance standards (if industry-relevant)Company Description
