Job Title: Recycling Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Recycling Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for visually inspecting and physically sorting scrap PVC materials, such as vinyl siding and window frames. You will process materials through grinders, mixers, and pulverizing machines, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
Visually inspect and physically sort scrap PVC materials by colors and grade.
Operate grinders, mixers, and pulverizing machines efficiently and safely.
Stand and walk continuously throughout the shift.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
General labor skills
Forklift operation
Production and logistics experience
Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the shift
Ability to follow instructions and proceduresAdditional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Factory and/or production line experience is helpful but not required.
Ability to learn how to operate a band saw efficiently and safely.

Work Environment
Work in a facility with a partially open roof, comfortable working in a dusty, non-temperature controlled environment. Be prepared for mandatory overtime when necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Molalla, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
