Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Client Implementation Associate to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position involves overseeing the end-to-end planning and execution of client and product events across multiple global regions. The role requires strong project management, communication, and analytical skills to ensure seamless coordination and successful delivery of complex investment operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of client funding events, mandate changes, and product launches for separate accounts, commingled funds, ETFs, and mutual funds.

• Oversee client and fund liquidations, terminations, in-kind contributions, and withdrawals, ensuring all processes align with internal policies and standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including Relationship Managers, Product Development, and Investment teams, to define event requirements and gather necessary input.

• Evaluate the complexity, special requirements, and risks associated with each client event to develop tailored execution plans.

• Coordinate with custodians, recordkeepers, and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of client events.

• Review contractual agreements, providing feedback and seeking necessary approvals to support client onboarding processes.

• Lead or participate in initiatives aimed at improving business processes and enhancing operational efficiency.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and external partners to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

• Take a leadership role in resolving challenges, making informed decisions, and driving consensus among stakeholders.

• Partner with investment teams to manage client events from an investment perspective, ensuring alignment with client objectives.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment management, with a focus on investment operations and client event implementation.

• Comprehensive understanding of complex investment structures, processes, and vehicles, and their implications for client events.

• Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities to develop effective solutions for client objectives.

• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading client onboarding and event management projects.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced certifications or equivalent experience preferred.

• Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and a commitment to continuous improvement in industry knowledge and practices.
