Patient Access Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, values patient interaction, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently

Verify insurance coverage and benefits

Input and manage patient data in EPIC for billing, registration, and scheduling

Collect and enter demographic, insurance, and co-pay information

Ensure a seamless check-in experience for patients

Troubleshoot scheduling and access issues proactively

Manage patient forms, letters, and documentation flow

Provide support at the front desk and in the back office (phone-based scheduling)Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting

Proficiency with EPIC (1+ year preferred)

Knowledge of HIPAA regulationsWork Environment

Rotating between four locations (three in Appleton, one in Neenah)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Fridays until 4:30 PM), Monthly Tuesday Meeting 5:30–7:00 PM

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
