Job Title: Saw Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator with expertise in using measurement tools and a thorough understanding of saw concepts, practices, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and comprehend work orders, tolerances, and specifications, and will be responsible for setting up machines, blades, stops or feeding devices, and managing the flow of coolant against the cutting area.
Responsibilities
Set up machines, blades, stops, and feeding devices.
Manage the flow of coolant against the cutting area.
Properly load material onto saws using forklifts or other moving equipment.
Change blades on saws as needed.
Clean saws at the end of each shift.
Adhere to personal and facility safety procedures and practices.Essential Skills
Ability to use measurement tools.
Knowledge of saw concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to read and understand work orders, tolerances, and specifications.
Experience in setting up machines and managing coolant flow.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift experience is a plus.
Must be able to read and understand cutting instructions on computer programs.
Ability to work overtime as required.Work Environment
Work involves general production tasks and machine operation, including saw operation and hand tool usage. The role may require the use of forklifts for material handling. Dress code includes adherence to safety procedures and practices within the facility.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
