We are looking for a dedicated Accounting/HR Manager to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing daily accounting operations, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with client-specific requirements. Responsibilities:
• Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
• Develop and implement structured financial processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage the preparation and monitoring of budgets to ensure accurate financial forecasting.
• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and recruitment efforts to support team growth and development.
• Ensure compliance with client-specific training requirements, such as drug testing and specialized certifications.
• Collaborate with clients to conduct employee training sessions and monitor adherence to required programs.
• Facilitate the transition from outsourced accounting services to in-house operations.
• Support the refinement of workplace culture by fostering collaboration and promoting growth through skill development• Proven experience in accounting and financial management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage recruitment, onboarding, and team development.
• Familiarity with compliance processes, including client-specific training and certification requirements.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to streamline accounting operations.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and conduct employee training.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and support cultural development.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
