We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Permanent Associate Product Manager / Senior Product Specialist - RF Interconnects to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role requires a deep understanding of RF Interconnects, connectors, electronics, adapters, keyboard assemblies, semiconductors, and cables. The successful candidate will be customer-facing, have excellent presentation and communication skills, and will be adept at financial modeling, phases and gates, market analytics, and product analytics. You will be responsible for crafting the product roadmap, utilizing your technical skills, and building business cases.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and oversee the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
2. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the RF Interconnects market, trends, and competition.
3. Analyze potential partner relationships for product lines.
4. Conduct market and product analytics to guide strategic decisions and product development.
5. Develop and deliver product presentations to customers, stakeholders, and senior management.
6. Engage in customer-facing activities, providing technical and product support.
7. Prepare financial models and business cases for new product development.
8. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure products meet customer requirements and can be easily integrated into customer applications.
9. Develop product roadmaps and work with cross-functional teams to drive product development through the phases and gates process.
10. Collaborate with marketing to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or a related field in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with RF Interconnects, connectors, electronics, adapters, keyboard assemblies, semiconductors, and cables.
4. Strong customer-facing and presentation skills.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, phases and gates, market analytics, and product analytics.
7. Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
9. Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
10. Excellent knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with design software (CAD) is a plus.
11. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in manufacturing technology and new product development.
