Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Snohomish, Washington. In this role, you will be a key leader in managing and improving financial performance across multiple business locations. Your expertise will drive operational excellence and ensure compliance with financial standards in the machinery manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the Accounting Department for the Equipment & Repair Business Unit, ensuring efficient operations.
• Analyze financial data, maintain accurate documentation, and prepare detailed financial reports in alignment with company standards.
• Prepare and present forecasts, budgets, and financial summaries to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost savings, and process enhancements.
• Conduct performance meetings to communicate operating metrics, future spending plans, and monthly financial results.
• Develop and refine key performance indicators, challenging existing practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information.
• Maintain compliance with cost accounting methods and regulatory requirements, including preparation of necessary reports.
• Train and coach leaders on financial and operational performance fundamentals to ensure consistent understanding across teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and streamline operations.
The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $175,000.

9 paid holidays• Proven experience in accounting functions, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Proficiency with accounting software systems, such as SYSPRO and Crystal Reports.
• Strong knowledge of budget processes and financial forecasting.
• Familiarity with manufacturing industry practices and regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in auditing and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Skill in process improvement and operational performance enhancement.
• Experience with CRM systems and financial services tools like ADP.
• Ability to manage procurement activities and ensure cost-effective operations.
