Job Title: SMT Operator
Job Description
We are currently seeking SMT Operators in the Greater Portland area. In this role, you will be responsible for operating SMT machines for the production of PCBs. While training will be provided, familiarity or experience in electronics is preferred. This position requires intense attention to detail and the ability to work on your feet for the majority of the shift, including some bending, twisting, and loading of parts.
Responsibilities
Operate SMT machines for PCB production.
Ensure quality and accuracy in assembly and production processes.
Perform soldering and surface mount technology tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
Utilize critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Essential Skills
Experience or familiarity with electronics.
Strong attention to detail.
1+ years of manufacturing or equivalent experience.
Ability to work in an ITAR facility.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Critical thinking skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
This position operates on the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The facility is temperature-controlled, and wearing a smock is required to eliminate static. The large open warehouse features numerous storage racks, creating a bit of a maze-like layout. Our workspace is very clean and dust-free, ensuring a comfortable and efficient working environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Portland, Maine.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
