Base-2 Solutions is seeking motivated undergraduate or graduate students for a Summer/Fall 2025 Marketing internship. This position will offer hands-on experience within the hi-tech and government contracting sectors. Interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to real-world projects while gaining valuable GOVCON insights. The Marketing Intern will assist in developing and executing marketing strategies, creating content, and analyzing campaign performance. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, are eager to learn, and able to commit up to 25 hours a week through December 2025. Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
Works alongside Project Coordinators and Technical Writers to create materials that contribute to growing the company’s online presence. Content areas include talent and recruitment, company events and culture, and other relevant ad-hoc content.
Maintains the company’s social media accounts and posts content.
Monitors performance and analytics on relevant LinkedIn content and responds to inquiries as appropriate.
Works with digital social media management platforms such as Hootsuite.
Works with the Talent team to advertise “hot” and “evergreen” jobs.
Brainstorms campaign ideas.
Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns and adjusts campaign strategies accordingly.
Understands the overall goals and mission of the company, including branding, stakeholders, goals, and all other aspects of service.
Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social media platforms and internal processes.
Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
Assists with social media content ideation, creation, and maintenance.
Research trends and topics in the industry to create content that fits our strategy.
Willing to assist other interns/projects when requested.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
Artistic and/or corporate-style graphic design experience (required)
Experience with managing social media platforms, analyzing analytics, and content management/scheduling systems is preferred.
Eligible to receive college credit for the internship.
Dedicate a maximum of 25 hours a week
Pursuing a college degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, policy, international affairs, or related field.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Express, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.) preferred.
Experience in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience with Hootsuite
Ability to succeed in team-oriented and independent project environments.
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
