Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist (SME)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedCyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist (SME)to support our team inHuntsville, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems and third-party integrations in support of our cyber defense infrastructure.

In this role, you will:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based operating systems and platforms.

Manage backups, system upgrades, and software patching to ensure platform security.

Troubleshoot issues related to software, networking, and integration.

Support the integration of third-party components into cybersecurity infrastructure.

Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to meet infrastructure needs.

If you're suitable for this role, you have:

10+ years of experience working in Linux-based environments and IT systems support.

Strong experience in system administration, including upgrades and patching.

Familiarity with network configuration, infrastructure support, and integration best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience integrating third-party components, cyber threat intelligence system integration, and security operations center (SOC) infrastructure experience

Certifications in Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), and/or CompTIA Linux+

Understanding of NIST NICE Work Roles such as Secure Software Development (DD-WRL-003) and Security Infrastructure Support (IN-WRL-001)
