Job Description:

As a Grinder, you will be responsible for operating various grinding machines to shape, sharpen, and smooth materials such as metal or plastic. You will work closely with other team members to ensure products meet quality specifications and are produced in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set up grinding machines (e.g., surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, bench grinders) to grind and finish metal parts.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required dimensions and quality standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and other technical documents to determine the appropriate grinding process.

Select and install the appropriate grinding wheels and tools based on the material being worked on.

Qualifications:

Two years experience as a Grinder or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.

Strong understanding of grinding machines and processes.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Comfortable working in a standing position for long periods.
