Job Description

As a Grinder Machinist, you will be responsible for precision grinding operations on metal components to ensure high-quality manufacturing. You will operate and maintain grinding machines, ensuring accuracy and adherence to engineering specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work within a team environment to meet production goals. Responsibilities

Operate surface, cylindrical, and/or centerless grinding machines

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders

Measure and inspect finished parts using precision tools to ensure quality standards

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of grinding equipment

Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies

Qualifications and Requirements

Previous experience as a grinder machinist or similar role

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings

Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

The base pay range for this position is $18.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth
