Job Description

We’re an early-stage, self-funded startup in stealth mode—founded by two entrepreneurs with multiple successful exits across wildly different industries. We’re building a high-impact SaaS platform to reinvent how neighborhoods buy home services. The market is huge. The status quo is broken. And we’re about to ship something better.

We’ve been grinding behind the scenes for over a year. Designs? Done. Spec? Solid. Dev partner? On board. Now we’re looking for an ambitious, curious engineering intern to work directly with our Head of Product & CTO and help bring this thing to life.

This isn’t just fixing typos or building landing pages (though, hey, if you’re good at that too, great). You’ll get your hands in the real stuff—learning how a product goes from spec to code to launch, collaborating with a real development team, and helping us ship V1.

If you’ve got builder energy, startup curiosity, and at least a little comfort with modern web stacks, keep reading.

What You’ll Do

Work alongside our CTO to bring features to life, QA what gets built, and squash bugs before users ever see them.

Collaborate with our external dev team, learning how real product pipelines operate.

Translate wireframes and user flows into actual working experiences.

Help pressure-test the platform—logic, edge cases, performance—before we go live.

Suggest smarter ways to build things. We’re open to better ideas, faster workflows, and clever hacks.

Bonus: If you’re handy with AI tools, automations, or code-as-content experiments, we’ve got plenty of playground.

What You’ll Get

A front-row seat to how a modern SaaS startup builds from zero.

Weekly mentorship from a sharp CTO who’s done this before and wants you to leave better than you came.

Experience working across tools like GitHub, Figma, Notion, and whatever tech stack we’re currently cursing or loving.

Exposure to agile-ish dev workflows and how technical teams make decisions in the real world.

The chance to own small-but-critical components of a real product headed for market.

What We’re Looking For

You’ve coded things before—projects, apps, tools, scripts. Even better if they actually worked.

You know enough front-end (React, Vue, HTML/CSS, etc.) to be dangerous—or at least not afraid to learn.

You’re curious about product design, user experience, and why people click what they click.

You’re low-ego, high-output, and quick to ask questions or hunt down answers.

Bonus points for exposure to no-code tools, Figma, Git, REST APIs, or Webflow. But we’ll take hustle over a tech stack checklist.

Logistics

Location: In-person preferred (mHUB Chicago or Industrious Evanston). Hybrid OK if you’re proactive.

Compensation: Unpaid, but we support school credit and your career goals.

Future Potential: Blow us away and you’ll have a shot at a longer-term role. Paid projects, part-time work...even equity—if you’re the real deal.
