Job Description
NOVA Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Project Engineer (PE) to join our Pensacola, FL team.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion
Review and approve technical reports for geotechnical engineering projects, ensuring they meet client and regulatory requirements
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff
Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules
Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations
Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations
Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering is required
Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required
5 - 10 years geotechnical engineering experience is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent project management skills and leadership ability
