Software Engineering Intern

Job Description

AST is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Team for the Y2025 summer internship period. This is a full-time position that is located onsite in Tacoma, Washington.

The compensation range for onsite WA applicants is $22.50 to $25.00 an hour. All applicants are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

Design software and control systems for simple automation, including embedded products, robotics, vision, PLC, HMI, and other peripheral and modular codes.

Perform machine testing, experiments, and debug activities per the testing and qualification plans.

Assist with documentation, technical writing, and research.

Other tasks as assigned.

Pursuing or planning to pursue bachelor’s degree in a software or related engineering curriculum.

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
