Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assists Client Managers in the procurement of new work with innovative and creative solutions
Has ability to create strong personal relationship with the Client and teammates
Establishes a clear Client communication protocol for the project (method and frequency).
Ensures Client expectations and critical success factors are consistent with PM’s understanding (project scope/fee/schedule/deliverables).
Managing projects with the ability to perform feasibility studies, drainage impact analysis, conveyance analysis, and flood control projects.
Independent thinker with critical thinking skills.
Working Knowledge of HECRAS, HECHMS, EPA SWIM, XP & PC SWIM, KYPIPE, and ARCGIS software.
Ability to produce and oversee modeling (ID, 2D, 1D-2D Couple Modeling)
Passion and experience for managing/mentoring graduate engineers, professional engineers, and sub-consultants.
Knowledge of the whole project cycle, from conception to completion of the project.
Willing to learn new drainage criteria and interact with local review agencies.
Ensures design solutions are consistent with the Client's goals.
Provides project oversight.
Obtains feedback on Client satisfaction.
Approves the project team to ensure the team is qualified to successfully execute the project.
RequirementsRequirements
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or closely related field
Must have P.E. license in the State of Texas
Natural leader willing to champion a team of engineers and technicians
Talent in project management, including familiarity with design software
6+ years of experience in Drainage/H&H Engineering with an innovative approach to complex problem-solving
Valid Driver's License
