Job Summary:
White Bark Property Management is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Maintenance Crew Member with carpentry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, flooring, drywall, plastering & painting, with a willingness to train in any areas not yet mastered. This role involves responding to maintenance requests, performing general repairs, and renovating apartments. Carpentry skills are essential, light plumbing and electrical knowledge is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Address maintenance requests promptly and effectively. Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely while maintaining a clean work environment.
Communicate with tenants and property management regarding the status of repairs and maintenance requests.
Assist with apartment renovations, ensuring work is completed on time and to company standards.
Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and prevent future issues.
Perform general repairs to interiors and exteriors of buildings in portfolio.Qualifications:
Proven carpentry experience
Experience in general building maintenance and apartment renovation.
Knowledge of light plumbing and electrical work is a plus, but not necessary
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate effectively with tenants and management.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items and work in varied environments.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
