Due to continued growth, we’re looking to add a Sr. Systems Administrator to our Projects Team. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering successful client outcomes by leading technical project work and serving as both a hands-on engineer and escalation point. You'll collaborate closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to implement solutions that align with project goals and business needs.

Responsibilities:

Lead project kickoffs, driving discussions on scope, expectations, and risks.

Execute complex technical tasks in client Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring timely delivery.

Provide post-go-live support, optimizing client environments and ensuring smooth project cutovers.

Track issues, driving improvements and capturing lessons learned in post-project debriefs.

Lead escalations, providing advanced troubleshooting and mentoring to team members.

Implement process improvements and update documentation to increase team efficiency.

Collaborate with third-party vendors and co-managed environments to meet project goals.

Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of processes, tools, and environments.

Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams about project impacts and changes.

Log time, expenses, and work activities daily in ConnectWise.

Send client-facing project status updates and prepare for check-ins.

Participate in project kickoffs and post-project debriefs as needed.

Support other tasks as assigned to ensure project success.

Advanced Experience with project initiatives such as the following:

Workstation Lifecycle Replacement Initiatives

New Office Space Build-outs and moves

Application Deployments (e.g. MDR, SIEM)

Hypervisor Replacements and Migrations

New Office Space Build-Outs

Email Migrations (Various Platforms to M365)

Server Builds and Migrations (File Server, Domain Controller, Application Servers)

Network Upgrades and Cross-Platform Migrations

Requirements

6-8 years of experience (preferred)

Degrees in fields like Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Management Information Systems (MIS) are highly valued.

Certifications such as MCSA, VCP, CCNA are a plus.

Experience with platforms like ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, and Office 365 is preferred

Highly motivated and committed to tackling the challenges of a growing company with a diverse client base

Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication abilities

Proven track record of managing multiple client needs while thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Demonstrated experience in engaging and presenting to key stakeholders, including executives and C-level leadership
