Job Description

Title: Android Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Day 1 onsite)

Duration : Long Term

Job Duties and Skills:

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans

Participates in the discovery phase of small to medium size Mobile Engineering projects -Participates in peer code reviews and team development

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions

Provides mobile engineering support to the business

Troubleshoots business and production issues for mobile devices *Minimum Education and Experience required:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience building scalable e-commerce applications or mobile software

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in building scalable e-commerce applications or mobile software.

Solid understanding of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with fragmentation.

Experience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger/Hilt).

Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.

Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, Espresso).

Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team 1 in an agile environment.
