Position Overview:
The Engineering Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top engineering talent for the PAC Group. This role focuses on building pipelines for various engineering roles, including mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on engineering or technical roles. This role requires strong sourcing skills, a passion for finding top talent, and the ability to manage full-cycle recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
· Proactively source and attract qualified engineering candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking events, and other recruiting channels.
· and maintain a strong pipeline of passive and active candidates for various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
· Leverage Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools to identify and engage top engineering talent.
· Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and extending offers to candidates.
· Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements, develop job descriptions, and align candidate profiles for each open position.
· Conduct in-depth candidate interviews to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and overall suitability for the role.
· Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining consistent communication, providing timely feedback, and guiding candidates through the interview process.
· Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as university career centers, professional organizations, and industry-specific networks, to attract top talent.
· Stay updated on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and talent market conditions,
Qualifications:
· 5-7 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with a focus on engineering or technical roles.
· Proven success in sourcing and hiring for a variety of engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
· Strong sourcing skills, including experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other recruiting tools (greenhouse prefered but not required).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
· Ability to manage multiple open positions and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS software.
· Basic understanding of engineering concepts, roles, and terminology to effectively screen candidates for technical positions.
· Knowledge of recruitment best practices and current trends in the engineering and technology sectors.
