Minimum Requirements And Qualification
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; entry-level candidates (1–2 years of experience) will be considered.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Sustainment Management Systems (SMS) or in a related technical field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of an organization.
Familiarity with Maximo and SMS Builder is highly preferred.
Ability and confidence to deliver presentations and training sessions to both small and large groups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability and willingness to learn new USAR-specific software.
Prior experience with the federal government or military is a plus.
Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
Must be able to successfully complete a Department of the Army background check.
Must pass a drug screening.Major Responsibility Areas And Duties
Maintain and update the FEMS and SMS Builder systems, including HVAC and warranty information.
Analyze and reconcile data across multiple Director of Public Works (DPW) systems to ensure accuracy (e.g., FEMS, SMS Builder, HQIIS, Builder Worksheets, Project Equipment in Place Lists).
Generate monthly Preventative Maintenance (PM) Work Orders in FEMS and track their completion.
Ensure completed PM Work Orders are closed out with “Approved for Closure” status.
Update relevant documentation, trackers, and reference tools in accordance with new contracts or contract year changes.Physical Requirements And Environmental Conditions
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Work will require the regular utilization of hand and finger dexterity, as well as close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility to include but not limited to walking, standing, climbing, bending, reaching, turning, kneeling, crouching, or crawling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that, due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required. Must be able to lift, move, and transport items frequently over 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
Work is generally conducted in an inside environment, but may also involve some outside work, depending on the task. The inside environment may be in an office or cubicle with close quarters, with low to moderate noise, and bright or dim lighting. Outside work may include various environmental conditions including hot and cold climates. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
