Flutter Mobile App Game Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a Flutter Mobile App Game Developer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for creating a mobile game using Flutter and the Flutter Casual Games Toolkit. This app will be delivered to both the iOS and Android mobile ecosystems. This work has a 6-month duration, focused on creating an MVP based on the customer's requirements.

Responsibilities:

Analyze customer's existing game design and current implementations and translate to a mobile game

Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs

Recommend libraries and tooling that fit requirements

Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code

Document all programming tasks and procedures

Mentor junior developers also assigned to the task

Qualifications:

Previous experience in mobile app development

Knowledge of Dart programming language, and the Flutter SDK

Familiarity with the Flutter Casual Games Toolkit, Flame, and other mobile dev game engines

Experience with Firestore and its use case to support multiplayer gaming

Previous experience developing mobile app games

Familiarity working on a team using agile methodologies (Scrum, Scrumban, etc...)

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Part-time
