Job Description

Job Overview: Kitchen Tune-Up Lake Country, WI is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our team. This hands-on role involves working on various kitchen remodeling projects, including cabinet refacing, redooring, painting, custom cabinet installation, and wood restoration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform cabinet refacing by applying veneer to cabinet boxes.

Install new doors and drawer fronts.

Apply paint to cabinets, including preparation, priming, and finishing.

Install custom cabinets according to design specifications.

Conduct wood restoration (Tune-Ups) to revitalize existing cabinets.

Install crown molding and other trim work with precision.

Modify existing cabinetry and perform general carpentry to accommodate appliances, enhance functionality, or align with updated designs.

Drill for and install hardware such as hinges, handles, and knobs.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.

Communicate effectively with project manager and clients, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in cabinet installation, carpentry, or related field.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications.

Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to various project requirements.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and materials (up to 50 lbs.).

Comfortable standing, bending, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
