Job Description
As a General Laborer you will assist in tasks including torch cutting, material handling, cleanup, and shop organization. The ideal candidate is highly safety-focused, results-driven, and able to contribute immediately in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Use a cutting torch to break down scrap and excess materials
Cut materials into smaller pieces for safe disposal
Load, unload, and move materials by hand or forklift
Keep shop and yard areas clean and organized
Follow instructions and safety guidelines consistently
Perform other duties as assigned under direct supervision
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (required)
Prior experience using a cutting torch and operating a forklift
Ability to safely cut materials into smaller pieces for disposal
Strong safety focus and adherence to protocols
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods
High sense of urgency, excellent attendance, and results-driven mindset
Able to follow instructions and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Post-Offer Requirements:
Candidates must successfully complete the following post-offer screenings before starting:
Drug Test: 10-Panel Non-DOT – Urinalysis
Criminal Background Check: Past 7 years – All counties of residence
Education Verification: Minimum high school diploma or GED

Visual Acuity Exam: Must have 20/40 vision or better and 120-degree field of vision

The base pay range for this position is $17-18.90/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
