Job Description

Join a dedicated team that values accountability and growth! We’re currently hiring a plate saw operator for a growing company in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This 2nd shift opportunity is ideal for candidates with prior machine operating experience and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks in a plant setting.

Location: Blaine, MN

Wage: $20 - $23 per hour

Hours: 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (Overtime as needed)

Duties of the band saw operator:

Identify correct inventory and calculate necessary material for jobs

Operate plate saws and manage all cutting operations

Finalize job tickets in the ERP system

Securely package saw jobs for safe shipment

Organize completed jobs by delivery route for efficient loading

Restock leftover materials after each job

Operate additional equipment such as plate blaster, shear, punch press, drill press

Use beveling, grinding, and deburring tools

Assist with inventory organization and optimization

Participate in physical inventory counts

Occasionally assist with loading/unloading materials

Maintain safety and cleanliness of the plant

Requirements of the band saw operator:

Previous saw or machine operating experience

Ability to read tape measures and use measuring tools accurately

Valid driver’s license

Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs

Prior plant/warehouse experience preferred
