Description:
Ø Be instrumental in developing the overall culture, systems and processes of the company with the objective of achieving best in class products and service to our OEM customers
Ø Prepare quality improvement team members by identifying training needs, developing training materials, training associates in analytical problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Ø Lead internal and external quality concern solutions through the application of quality tools and practices with the objective of repeat concern elimination
Ø Liaison and inclusion of other internal departments to draw on company knowledge to apply to problem solving
Ø Recommends quality policies by identifying problems; studying standards; evaluating quality outcomes
Ø Promotes interest in quality improvement efforts by publicizing project results including customer scorecards
Ø Recognizes improvements by developing reward targets for Quality step achievement
Ø Support achievement of business objectives by data analysis and improvement theme selection, including necessary inputs to management review.
Ø Lead initiatives to assist quality culture improvement and organization success
Ø Support new model development team in understanding the customer expectations and achievement of ISR approval
Ø The ability to read engineering drawings and specifications to confirm product development and running production achieve customer quality and/or specific requirements as defined in Inspection Standards / Control Plans
Ø Additional requirements include the coordination and management of resources to ensure daily customer shipments.
Ø Lead the continual improvement in products and services by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and participating in professional societies to develop strategic improvement plans.
Ø Coordinate internal quality resources as required related to Quality Management System, Gage Control, Customer Portal access, Internal Auditing and On Time Customer Concern resolution
